How to Post Your Photo(s):

  3. Go to fairtrademyhome Wall
  4. Attach a photo to your wall post
  5. To add a description, click on your photo. Select “edit this photo”, and enter a caption.
  6. Your photo, now in the album Fan Photos, is automatically entered into all contests!

How many times can you enter?

You can enter as many photos as you’d like!

How will winners be chosen?

Submissions received before the deadline will be judged by a 3-person Contest Committee based on how well a submission represents its category, how much it inspires people to commit to Fair Trade, and how much variety of Fair Trade products are shown/used.

And the winners are…

Winners will be announced May 17th on FTRN’s home page: www.FTRN.org Winners will also be contacted individually via their Facebook account and asked to provide a shipping address to receive their prize.

The fine print… rules:

1. Contestants must reside in N. America.

2. Photo must be taken in 2009-2010.

3. Winners will be contacted at their Facebook account, and asked for N. America shipping address for prizes.

4. No staff or Board member of FTRN can win prizes, although they can submit material.

5. Photograph submissions must relate to the theme of Fair Trade and accurately reflect the ideals and mission of the Fair Trade movement.

6. All photograph submissions must be an original taken by you or must be a photograph that you have full legal rights to distribute. All photographs should accurately reflect the subject matter and the scene as it appears.

7. In order to be considered eligible for this contest, photographs must represent images associated with third-party Fair Trade recognition, as decided on by contest committee members. Products sold by members of the Fair Trade Federation and World Fair Trade Organization, as well as products certified by TransFair or IMO’s Fair for Life program, all qualify.

8. Photograph captions should accompany all submissions, and should include the subject of the image, the location the image was taken, and the name of any organization submitting the photo. Individuals do not need to identify their names.

9. By entering the contest you grant to Fair Trade Resource Network the right to use your photo and caption in promotions and other publications, both specifically related to Fair Trade and World Fair Trade Day.

10. All decisions made by FTRN are final and binding.
