Fair Trade Fair @ Columbia Univ.
A Fair Trade Group is being formed in Columbia University and their first event is a fair hosted by ΔGDP with support from the Alliance of Students Against Poverty and the Multicultural Business Association. This will be a learning experience about the Fair Trade model and how it helps sustain individuals who struggle to make a living in developing countries in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Beautiful handicrafts and other hand-made products will be on display for sampling and purchase, from a myriad of global small-to-medium size businesses including Inca Kids,Rainforest Native, A Different Approach, Papyrus Cards, Handcrafting Justice, Weave a Dream, Cards from Africa, etc.
