Event:

Fair Play Fest
Rohs Street Cafe and University Christian Church in uptown Cincinnati are celebrating our fair trade coffee and relational connections to Guatemala. We are holding a 3-day music and educational event to promote fair trade and share stories of Guatemala. The music-filled evenings feature jazz and coffee tasting (Thursday 7-12am), Blue Jordan records (Friday 8-12am) and Saturday evening, 7-1am, is the 14-band music blow-out. Tickets raise funds for expanding Guatemalan coffee certification and community development projects. The music events are $15 or $30 for a 3-day pass. Saturday 9-3 are educational seminars, fun, games for the kids and food tasting. A wide variety of fair trade groups will have tables and information, and Q & A session will feature local Guatemala visitors. Ten Thousand Villages and Equal Exchange will have products available. Donations are suggested for Saturday daytime events.
