Fair Trade Fall Festival
The Monroe Vicariate's Peace and Justice Committee is hoping to educate you. The group is sponsoring a Fair Trade Fall Festival Saturday, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church Parish Life Center, 151 N. Monroe St. Much like the committee's "hunger banquet" a year ago, the fair trade festival will be an educational event. But it will include a pig roast, foods grown by local farmers, interactive games and the opportunity to buy fair trade products. $10 tickets - purchase in advance at Cafe Classics, 29 S Monroe St or contact Lorie Bronson at 241-6097 or Mr Conner at 693-0446 or Mark Bohmer at 845-6275.
