Seminar on Fair Trade and Opening of Fair Trade Outlet/Display Centre in Kashmir

Muzaffarabad May 16 - Islamic Relief will unveil the Benefits of Fair Trade for the communities living in Kashmir as part of celebration of World Fair Trade Day by organizing a Seminar on Fair Trade on May 17 in Muzaffarabad.

Islamic Relief is also establishing a Fair Trade Outlet/Display centre which will serve to promote marketing of selected products being prepared by the earthquake affected people in Pakistani Administered Kashmir.

Islamic Relief is working in Kashmir since 1997 and since its inception the office has successfully implemented many relief and development projects in different sectors.

Over the years Islamic Relief has developed its reputation of being one of the leading emergency response and development organizations in the region.

Islamic Reliefs Sustainable Livelihood Programme has contributed enormously to the development of the communities in Pakistani Administered Kashmir. Through this programme Islamic Relief is also building the capacity of the local people to anticipate the present and future challenges of the livelihood systems.
